Pastor James McKinnies presented the focus word for CTA of “Commit”. “Commitment” isn’t just the theme word for the year, but a necessary way of life for anyone expecting growth and success.

The message that was preached was also on the importance of commitment. One cannot expect to have success or lasting victory in one’s spiritual life, relationships, finances, or anything else without being willing to take action and be committed to planting seeds of faith.

In Luke 5:26-29 the scripture tells us the responsibility of the individual is to cast seeds of faith. We may not be able to explain how God is going to fulfill His plan and bring forth fruit, and it’s really not our responsibility to know the “how”. We don’t have to figure it all out, but it is our responsibility to keep planting seeds. Stay committed. EVERY DAY. Your commitment to the things of God, day in and day out will guarantee an eventual harvest of a fruitful life. Don’t give up, don’t stop, stay committed!
