Broken, Breaking, But Blessed
🔥“Broken, Breaking, But Blessed” 🔥
What a powerful message preached by Rev. Justin Rorie today at CTA.
You may relate to the story of Job and the trials of loss and hurt that he faced in his life. Job was a man who seemingly did everything right, he had everything going for him, but he still faced incredible loss in his life.
He was in a state of breaking, he became a broken man, but he maintained his integrity and his commitment to the Lord.
“Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.”
â€â€Job‬ â€1:20-22‬ â€KJV‬‬
Many times in life we may not have a clear answer as to “why” we face certain trials, but the message is clear: we must remember to serve God and worship Him regardless of the ups and downs we face. Worship Him for who He is, knowing He is sovereign. If we praise and worship only for what He can do for us, then we have a shallow relationship with Jesus and we will be disappointed. Change your perspective and keep serving Him whether we are “abased or we abound”.
You may be broken, you may be breaking, but you can still be blessed. 🔥❤️
