Small Groups

Acts 2:42
“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Vision Statement:
The vision of CTA Small Groups is to obey the Word of God by applying the model found in Acts 2:42. We believe that obeying this model will provide the capacity for growth, development, discipleship and care found in the early church.

Mission of Small Groups
Fellowship – Connect with the body of believers through meaningful, Christ-centered relationships.
Discipleship – Create a casual, welcoming environment for discussing God’s Word with practical, everyday application.
Serve/Ministry – Offer opportunities for every member to give and receive support, strengthening and edifying the body of Christ.
Evangelism – Reach friends and neighbors through natural, non-church settings that provide a pathway to Christ.
Prayer – Commit to unified prayer within each group, lifting up needs and seeking God together.

  • Prepare for the small group prior to meeting. (Review handout, attend 10am study or watch it)
  • Work together to coordinate food or refreshments with the host.

  • Fill out Small Group Leader Report through the CTA church App after your small group (you can designate someone in the group to to this as well)
  • All facilitators must adhere to the guidelines and expectations provided for small group leaders.
  • If you are unable to attend small group or need to change the day, please reach out to Brother Jonathan or Pastor Jimmy. This will help ensure smooth communication and coordination for coverage.
